News and Updates January 1st, 2010  Happy New Year! October 18th, 2009  Boothbay "got healthy" and for the first time since the opening game of the season had its entire backfield in place. With just 5 healthy offensive linemen on the roster the Seahawks RAN WILD over Freeport in a game where neither side seemed to want to play defense. The Seahawks made some meaningful half time adjustments to slow down Freeports' leading rusher and take control of the game for good. The night had a special feeling and meaning with the middle school and youth teams joining the varsity program in pregame routine. Seeing the Seniors win AND PERFORM WELL on their final home game was important to all in attendance. Great job by the Oline. Team 80 carries * 602 yards rushing * 9 rushing touchdowns * 8 two point conversions LW - 29 carries 188 yards 4tds, 6 two point conversions RW- 21 carries, 100 yards, 1 td FB- 12 carries 151 yards, 4 tds QB- 5 carries 82 yards RW2- 9 carries 62 yards RW3- 1 carry 9 yards LW2- 1 carry 4 yards FB2- 2 carries 6 yards no passes thrown Not a bad night's work for a team with 20 players- 3 seniors and 4 juniors!
